DraftKings NASCAR Auto Club Speedway Preview

NASCAR wraps up its west coast swing this weekend with its one and only trip to Auto Club Speedway this year, located in Fontana, California. Auto Club is a 2-mile, D-shaped oval and is twin tracks in shape with Michigan Speedway. However, the comparisons end there. Auto Club isn’t banked as much as Michigan, with only 14 degree banking in the turns compared to 18 degrees at Michigan. Additionally, Auto Club has a very old racing surface, making it very abrasive and hard on the tires. This will lead to a lot of tire wear, making the race comparable to the race three weeks ago at Atlanta in that regards. I’ll preview this weekend’s NASCAR DraftKings Auto Club Speedway slate, including strategy and driver selection.
