I Don’t Even Like Devonta Freeman and I Think He’s Wildly Undervalued

When I originally started researching this piece, it was a different kind of article altogether. Even though Devonta Freeman was my No. 2 Zero RB candidate a season ago, I’m a big Tevin Coleman fan. Coleman was the most explosive player in college football in 2014, a year that included fireworks from  Melvin Gordon and featured transcendent prospect Todd Gurley. Coleman was also better than Gordon against common opponents, another small piece of a very intriguing puzzle. So when Freeman sputtered down the stretch of his massive breakout season,1 well, I was hoping to write that Freeman was a sell and Coleman a buy. But that’s not what happened.
