Freak Scores for the 2014 WR Class

dontemoncrief We just posted a new app to the site which will let you calculate what I’m calling Freak Scores NFL WR prospects. The idea is roughly similar to some other things we’ve done on the site, except that I wanted to make it easy for you to calculate the scores for yourself. I figured after I posted that app that it was probably cruel to make you go through looking for every 2014 receiver, so the table below may save you some time. The Freak Score is based on creating a model to project TD/G for a receiver in his first three seasons. I tried to limit the model to variables that we’re almost sure to have for all prospects. Then I scale the number from 0 to 100 so that you can really easily look at a number and get a sense as to relative value. It’s also worth noting that the physical component is just one part of the WR equation.
