The WR Prospect Great Eight: (3) Marqise Lee vs. (11) Donte Moncrief

dontemoncrief As we enter the Great Eight of our tournament, it’s important to point out that these are not necessarily our top eight players. There were some tough match-ups in the first round. One saw Jordan Matthews, a very highly touted WR by the Rotoviz staff, lose to Davante Adams. The great thing about this exercise is the insight you can get into how some of the writers here make decisions into choosing between two players. With that being said lets take a look at the first round and how things unfolded.   bracket1

(3) Marqise Lee vs. (11) Donte Moncrief

As we look at this match-up and how both players got here, we see that Moncrief pulled the biggest upset seed wise. The Rotoviz staff is much more comfortable with his profile than we were with Benjamin’s older age and lack of production. Marqise Lee came into his final college season being praised as the possible best WR prospect for 2014. While injuries may have derailed that, it wasn’t enough for Bruce Ellington to take him down.
